SOAS University of London is offering its first two degree-level programmes taught entirely outside the UK, in partnership with Ngee Ann Academy: the Bachelor of Science International Management (Japan & Korea) and the Bachelor of Arts International Management and South East Asian Studies.
Students will be taught at Ngee Ann Academy by experts from a range of disciplines including finance, management, cultures and languages at SOAS University of London. Both programmes are designed to be delivered as an accelerated programme, allowing students to complete the degrees in two years.
BSc International Management (Japan & Korea) will provide students with key skill sets and grounding to pursue business careers in Japanese and Korean organisations or organisations that deal with these countries. Students will gain knowledge on Japanese and Korean management systems as well as a broader set of management disciplines including accounting, marketing, finance, international management, research methods, managerial economics and strategy.
BA International Management and South East Asian Studies prepares students to work in management in South East Asia or elsewhere in the world that requires knowledge of the region. The programme will provide students with an excellent and broad-ranging foundational knowledge of international management systems of South East Asia, as well as other cultural and political issues relating to the region. Students will also have an option to learn a specific South East Asian language from one of the following languages: Thai or Indonesian. The language option will enable students to achieve a level which will be of practical use when communicating with or working with a native speaker of that language.
