The Master of International Business provides you with an in-depth understanding of the key concepts of international business.

You will acquire relevant analytical and practical skills to engage with the complex dynamic forces that shape the international business environment.

You will also learn how firms can provide effective operational and strategic responses to these forces at the global, organisational and interpersonal levels.

Admission Criteria
The applicant must at least be 21 years old and possess a recognised Bachelor Degree in any relevant discipline or its equivalent.

Other qualifications and/or experience which demonstrate relevant knowledge or skills will be considered on case-by-case basis. The final decision rests with University of Adelaide.

Students with a degree that was not completed in English at an approved university are required to undertake an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) English test. The minimum required overall band score is 6.5, with a minimum band score of 6 for all sections.

The academic year is made up of three trimesters of approximately 16 weeks each.

Students can complete up to four courses in each trimester delivered over intensive blocks of lectures and/or tutorials.

Graduates will be well equipped to enter any organisation that appreciates the impact of a global economy, be that a multinational corporation, a government department that negotiates across borders or simply an organisation that is looking to employ staff with an in-depth understanding of the international business issues.

Specific Careers Include: Export/ Import Manager with large organisations and SMEs, International Entrepreneur, Management Consultant with emphasis in International Trade, Investment and Strategy, Consultant in Intercultural Management, International Business Analyst, Market Researcher, International Trade Policy Adviser, Aid Agencies and International NGOs, Teaching roles within the education sector and many others.
